FIRST
BALKAN CULTURAL FESTIVAL FOR YOUTH
In Litihor-Greece
from 23-28Th August, the first Balkan cultural festival for
youth was held.
Beside the
host represents of the Balkan countries were Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey,
Yugoslavia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Macedonia.
Festival had
competition spirit in tree areas: Unprofessional film, art and music.
Our
represents of unprofessional film were Kire Pesevski from Kumanovo with
film,, Pearls from Ohrid", Nikola Nikolov and Vasko Stojanov
"The last pack-saddler" from Strumica and Aleksandra Capovska
with film "Fortress of Kale".
In the area
of art our representatives were Dita Starova – painting, Stefan
Jakimovski – Graphic and Riste Puckovski – sculpture.
In the music area our representatives was Vase Zlatkov – clarinet.
Some of
Macedonian representatives were awarded:
- Stefan Jakimovski – second prize in graphics
- Risto Puckovski and Vase Zlatkov were awarded with special diplomas
This
festival has intention to become traditional.
