State competition of radioamateurs of Macedonia Matejce - Kumanovo , 13 - 15 October 2000

Goals and activities:

• Radioamateur society of Macedonia has the main goal to provide, spread, promote and develop amateur radio communications;
• To introduce and represented radio amateur clubs in the international Radioamateur Associations.
• Provide legislative duties in the field of Radioamateur communications.
• Organizing Radioamateur radio network for dangerous of catastrophes;
• Provide training for using radio equipment’s trough Radioamateur communications;
• Coordinate activities and work of forming new radio amateur clubs.
• Provide facilities for functioning of specific duties in the field of amateur radio communications, such as QSL office.

Radioamateur society has organized their activities trough 29 radioamateur clubs in the Republic of Macedonia , which have 180 radio stations of short waves, 220 radioamateur stations of ultra short waves, 120 acceptors for ARG of 3.5 and 144 MHz, 25 machines for ARG on 3.5 and 144 MHz, 5 regional and local repetitors of 144 MHz, 3 digipiter stations for UKV and one MAIL BOX with which radio amateurs from Macedonia are connected with European and world digipiters network.

Competitions and exhibitions:
Radioamateur society of Macedonia organized various competitions and meetings for Amateur radio goniometry (ARG), Radiotelegraphy (HST), Radioamateur network for danger (RMZO), Constructions in the field of radio communications.

Traditional competition of the Radioamateur society is Republic meeting of Radioamateurs, which in the year 1999 is held for the 34^th time.
